Help Help Help
Well, I think I've got the watermark down. Thank God for Grandsons. For all who emailed me, Thank you. Dawn, if you would email me your address, I have some blog candy to send to you. You were so sweet to help.
Now for my next issues. There is an absolutely fun fun Bloghop coming up on February 10th sponsored by the The Crafter's Cafe. There are badges and links for all the information, but that is where my problems come up. I thought I had the linky thingy down along with the badges. I have a lot of badges on my blog. But I just realized that when you click on them, they don't bring you to that particular blog or site.. Don't know why, but then it's me right. LOL
I am one of the DT members on the bloghop. My first one, a little nervous. I have some fun projects that I've been working on using the generous sponsors who've offered their stamps for us to use. But I know I have to have their link below the project on my blog. Just can't figure out how to do it.
The young gals I am working with on the DT at the Crafter's Cafe are so patient. I can do the projects, it just giving the sponsor credit for them. Sometimes, I get to laughing at myself so much because of how confused I get doing something apparently doing something so easy.
I have several things to upload to post, but I have to work on those badges , so they are correct. If any of my wonderful bloggers can give me some "easy" directions to get my blog up to par in time for you all to come and enjoy the creativity of all the DT , I'd be your BFF. Promise:D
Have a sunshine day everyone. I'm going back to get frustrated again. LOL

My Playday
I have 3-4 days where I really have nothing major going on. That hasn't happened in quite awhile. I'm going to spend it in my favorite place , my craftroom. I've gotten behind a bit on some projects, and time is a wasting.
I have accomplished a few things this week. I've learned how to do a link "thingy" , or whatever it's called, so that my project can be viewed. I finally (with a lot of help from Stacey) have the paint.net site downloaded. I have my watermark badge and the card I want to practice on imported to the site. Now to figure out how to layer these two. I love the look of a picture when the name of the artist or blog is superimposed on it. That's what Stacey is trying to help me do with the watermark. Wish Stacey luck, she has her work cut out for her. I'm also struggling with resizing a picture to download to the DT's forum for TCC. Good luck with that. But today is a play day for me.
I'm just going to complete several projects I have planned out. Hopefully , later today I'll have some new pictures to post.
Now if anyone reading this can help me with the watermark issue, I'd be ever so grateful. Leave a comment and I'll get back to you. Thanks for visiting.
In fact, the person that can help me with these crazy issues will get some awesome blog candy as a thank you. So all you computer literate people, put your thinking caps on. This old gal needs some help. (computer wise thank you very much):D

New Card for Day for Daisy Images
The recipe for this card using one of ADFD's images. I chose the tiny pixie. The colors were to be : red, pink and purple. Here is my first try.
I used water color markers , pencils and inks to color this card. The inks I used to give it some dimension to her clothes & other parts of the image. The sentiment was from my Beyond Birthdays Cartridge which I edged with shades of purple chalk. I edged the cardstock with a decorative punch , and then colored it with shades of purple chalk. The corner flowers are more of my prima flowers , which I love. I blinged her flowers up a bit with some jewels. I mean really, every girl needs bling bling. I used pop dots to attach her image to the purple polka dot paper as well as the sentiment. It's hard to see with this picture. I have another idea for a card using this adorable image. So back to my craft room.

WooHoo! First Blinkie
I can't believe I just figured out how to add a blinkie or something else to my sidebar. Unfortunately, the blinkie isn't blinking, but what do you expect from someone so computer challenged. I'm thrilled it's on my blog. It's from Hero Arts Blog. Check it out. It's really a neat one. Lots of good ideas and info.

New Challenge : Buttons & Bows Card
This was such a fun card to make. It went together quickly.
My recipe:
I colored her jeans, face, & mittens and did some shadowing with water color pencils.
Her scarf, hair, little pocket, andbows with markers. (watercolor so I did some blending)
I highlighted her scarf, bows, shoes, using glaze pens.
Her patches, scarf, shirt, poxket, shoes & socks detail was done with marker & glaze pens.
The snowflakes: some were done with pearl drops and some with stickles.
The button hearts on her jeans are small red brads.
I raised her up from the base card with large pop dots.
The corners were simply cut with a deckle scissor.
The buttons & bows (had to have them) just glued in each corner.
Let me know how you like it.

More Valentine Project Goodies-ATC & Treat Box w/Belly Band
I've got a number of pictures to post that shows a new Swap for January-Valentine ATCs. Thought I 'd get an early start on these. These aren't finished yet, just the first stage. I've used canvas ATC cards this time. I like the texture. The other project is a Secret Valentine Treat Box for one of the activities at The Crafter's Cafe. There is always something going on there. Never a dull moment.
Don't know why those pictures got separated, but you have the idea. They were supposed to go in sequence, but,of course, this is my computer and it definitely as a mind of it's own.

New pictures of Valentine Projects for Crafter's Cafe
Well , got alot finished yesterday. Finished my secrete Valentine Card, ready to mail, just need her address. Finished my secret sweetie box, just need an address. So here are the pictures.
The top 5 pictures are the beginning and final pictures for my secret Valentine. Her (the queen) image on the front was raised with pop dots. The bows I made with my trusty fork. (love those fork bows).
The box I made using 2 coordinating sheets of Valentine Card Stock and my scorepal. The finished box size is 8x8x2. I made a belly band for the box, but still need to embellish it. Can't wait to find out who the "secret sweetie" is so I can fill it with special goodies. Please feel free to leave a comment. I love getting feedback.
The images I've used on the last several projects are from Robynsfettish Digi's. She has the best images to work with. Check out her website , or better yet, go to Crafter's Cafe and join in the fun. You won't be sorry.

Secret Pal Valentine all finished
I'll post the finished product after I write the description of what I used for each part of the card.
I used glazed pens for accenting the outline of the image.
I used water pastel chalks and color pencils to color different parts of the image.
Of course, I used stickles for the hearts.
I used smooch (gray) for highlights for the hair and shadowing.
I used pearl dust and pastel chalks around the outside of the image and on her coat.
I inverted a corner punch for the corners.
Attached it to red glitter cardstock using pop dots.
Made the small bows with my trusty fork for the corners.
The inside sentiment printed off the computer.
Used the same corner punch for the inside paper.
Since it wasn't a standard card size, I made the envelope with coordinating papers.

Valentine Challenge Finished Project
Well, all finished and ready for the next Valentine Project. Here are about 4 pictures of my Lucy Valentine Gal. She is absolutely adorable.
Sample of Valentine Lucy Card
Yes, I know. 2 days in a row I am posting a picture or 2. This is just one idea I had for a special card I'm making for a Valentine's Card Recipe Challenge for the Crafter s Cafe.
The Image is "Valentine Lucy" and she's from Robynsfettish. I hope I got that name right. I'll have to check. Her digis are so cute, want to make sure I give her credit. Soooo here's Lucy!!!!
I used a variety of different things to color her.
I used Glaze pens to add some dimension on her eyes, around her collar and sleeves, around her big valentine heart, rosy cheeks, white on dress, mittens, tights, and the leaves on her bouquet.
I used water color pencils for her hair, bouquet, flowers, dress and shoes.
I used chalks for her face.
I used liquid pearls to give the dotted swiss look to her dress, collar and sleeves.
She isn't a finished project. I want to change the color of her dress (red) and add more dimension to the flowers and her hair, among other things. Really struggly with the face. Don't use copics, too expensive. Just not sure. Let me know if you have any good ideas.

ATC Swap 1st try
Well, they are finished. I'm quite pleased with them. I know I'll do more, these were such fun. I'll post the pictures. Let me know what you think. I'd love your feedback, especially since this is my first try.
The first few are close ups of individual cards with their envelopes. I made ten for the swap so the last picture shows a part of the group I sent.
I used precut ATC card as my base.
Then used a stampin up ink set that has 6 or 7 various colors in a row. Just rubbed the ink on the card randomly to get a faux finish effect.
Then I used my Accent Essentials Cartridge to make a frame 3". I used the inside for the 2nd layer of the card. I used gold & green glitter effect cardstock for this layer.
I used small brads at each of the corners just for an embellishment. I glued them to the card.
I then used a digi I received from a friend from another swap and cut it apart.
I used the poinsettia, English holly, and the mistletoe image along with their titles.
I did cut out each of the images for this project. I cut two of each image so they could be layered.
I used stamps and water colors to color the images.
Then, of course, I used stickles to hi-light the various colors.
I layered the images using small pop dots.
I cut the names and stickled them with clear crystal stickles. (got to have that bling)
Adhered them to the card and off I went to make the envelopes for each card.
I used Christmas Paper with the Poinsettia Theme on it. I found a pattern for these little envelopes a while back. They were quite easy to do.

First Challenge Coming Up
Well I am absolutely loving this Crqfter's Cafe. It has the greatest group of gals who are just as fun and as creative as you could possibly imagine. I'm officially going to be doing my first challenge due February 10th. It's called the Valentine Card Recipe Challenge. They are offering free digis to use with the challenge. I am having such a good time using digis images. I'm realizing I don't need copics to get the look I want in my cards.
I'm just finishing up the December ATC swap. The image to use was a Poinsettia. Never did one of these, but I will again. This was fun. As soon as I am finished , I'll post some pictures. I needed to make 11 and have to have them mailed by the 15th of this month. It's be tight but I'll get it done.
Then I just signed up for another Valentine Card Swap. It's due by Februry 14th. They are offering free digi images to use. We can do whatever we want with these cards. Its a secret card to someone on the site.
Then there is thge secret sweetie surprise like what we did for Christmas when we sent secret Santa packages. These are due, I think February 10th.
I'll try to post pictures of everything as I complete them.

New Years Resolution #27
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not too good at sticking to New Year's Resolutions. But this year I'm going to give my best shot when it comes to creating fun things to share with others. I'm going to try to set time aside each day to try to put my creativity to good use. Also, hopefully, my picture taking and downloading will improve somewhat. Right now, it sucks. LOL As you can see by my previous attempts. I'm getting more into using digi images. Having alot of fun with that. I've come across an absolutely fantastic site. It's called Crafter's Cafe. It has so many avenues where you can be creative many different ways. From using regular stamps (of your choice) (love that) to recycling . You've heard the expression someone's trash is someone Else's treasure. I love that . Right now I'm in the process of making some ATCs. Never attempted these before. But it really sounds like fun. The theme is poinsettia. I'm trying to design something on the cricut craft room site. It's not letting me sync my cartridge to the site. Who knows why. If it doesn't work, I'll just do it the regular way using my beloved expression. Love that machine. Hopefully later today I'll have something to post. Wish me luck. If you come visit, leave me a comment about my site (be nice now). If you've got some incite as to taking and posting pictures better, please feel free to let me in on it. Have a wonderful day.

Finally Taken Pictures of Some New Projects
I have some pictures of 2 cards and 2 recycled decorated notebooks I put together recently. The pictures aren't too good. But I am really please I am just able to download them now without any problems.
The 2 notebooks were recycled using wrapping paper left over from holidays and favorite character stickers. Needless to say their favorite colors are pink and purple. They love polka dots . One loves Tinkerbell. The other loves Sleeping Beauty. I kind of blinged it up a bit with the pearl drops. It gives a really pretty effect . I love the raised effect it has. The books I used were just an ordinary composition book. Easy, Easy.
The 2 cards I made: The pink one is for my grand niece just born a few days ago. I also used the pearl drops on it as well as stickles on the word "sweet pea". It's hard to show up, expecially when you don't take good pictures. But I am really pleased with it. The cartridge I used was New Arrival.
The blue card is a congratulatory card for a young man who just received his Eagle Award. The cartridge I used was Beyond Birthdays. I kept it simple. He's 16 and isn't into blinging it up.
Had so much fun today, making these things. I have been making things all through the holidays, but I just didn't have time to post anything. I just finished a really neat book for my sister and her husband's 50th wedding anniversary party. I forgot to take pictures of it. Of course. I'm going to have her send me a few, so I can download them.
