This was a November Challenge for the Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog DT.
Theme was Thanks. The Image for this was to use one of the Candlyland Series from The Stamping Boutique. I chose the Gingerbread Man. Who wouldn't be thankful for a delicious tasting gingerbread cookie.
I used a cream colored twill for an accent.
Stamin Up inks for highlighting.
Card Stock-Recollections Christmas Collection
Thanks for stopping by. Let me know how you liked this cute little guy.
luv2create4u
A blog for all my fun craft projects to share with all my friends and family. Hopefully give them some ideas, or learn from their suggestions.

I used a specialty paper for the back ground for this image. The cake was so busy, it really didn't need anything too busy. This paper is made with pale leaves and strings embedded through it.
The matting behind the paper was a teal colored stock that I embossed with gold.
This was a fun one to color. I digitally colored it and embellished with everything I could think of. Stickles, pearl drops, inks, watercolor pencils.
The card stock is from Recollections.
Don't forget to leave me some love.
Thanks for stopping by.
And we have another Challenge at TSB
Challenge #60 Music
The image I chose for the song I wanted to represent was Sledding Snowman. Of course, Frosty the Snowman is my song. And , yes, it's from TSB. She has a lot more fun Christmas and other Seasonal Images to pick from. Check it out. thestampingboutique.com
My ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbons Christmas Green
Card Stock-coordinating Christmas Collection (Recollection)
inks, watercolor pencils, stickles,
embellishments: buttons, mini clothespins
Just makes you want to break out into song, doesn't it.
Remember, let me know how you like it. Leave me some love.

Even More Challenges at The Stamping Boutique
Challenge #59 Thanks
I used the image of AJ the Pilgrim & Turkey. Instead of making a typical card, I made a shadow box using a template for a pastry box.
I had a lot of fun with this project. I used my cricut to create the flowers on the corners.
Ribbon : Really Reasonable Ribbon
Stamp: Fall Leaves
Gold Embossing Powder
Card Stock-coordinating Recollections
Stampin Up Inks
Bronze Brads
I've never a shadow box before. This was fun doing something different.
Let me know what you think.

Challenge # 61
Our challenge here at TSB this week is #61 Holiday Cards. We have at least 12 other fantastic cards make for this challenge. I'd like t invite you to come and take a look and then join us for this challenge. I mean who doesn't need Christmas Cards at this time of the year. Speaking of Christmas Cards, I have to get busy on mine.
This is one of my favorite images from The Stamping Boutique. thestampingboutique.com The image is the "Christmas Stocking"
I chose the Recollection Collection for the coordinating card stock.
Used chalk, water color pencils, digital coloring, and inks.
Of course I had to add glitter, what's a card without glitter.
This was a card I created for my friends at a nearby nursing home. They call themselves the Cardsharks. They range in age from 70's to late 90's. Each month we put together card kits I make up for them and send them to Operation Write Home. This card is simplified to accommodate their manual dexterity skills. Through trial and error I've come to realize they cannot easily use pop-dots, brads, stamps, and roll adhesives. So I've found an excellent glue stick that works beautifully for them. All the highlighting I do after they put the cards together. This particular card I made as a sample. I'll have to post the group's picture next month when we are making our cards. They are such a cute group of gals.
Also the Paper Craft Planet The Stamping Boutique has just begun its 3rd Challenge- Gold and/or Rings
They are just getting started but they do have prizes and they also have tutorials over there. Please go check them out. papercraftplanet.com
Please leave me some love. I really appreciate your comments.

More Creativity Abounds Today
The 2 pictures above are from a fat page using an image from
I tried to use some of that stretchy webbing to give it a bit of spookiness. It's hard to pick it up from the picture.
The top two pictures on the post below is another challenge card I made using the template for the coffin shaped card from
myscrapchick.com
Those 2 pictures were supposed to be at the end of that post. Somehow it showed up at the top. Who knows how I did it. I sometimes amaze myself when it comes to posting .
Now for some more to share.
This card was again highlighting the color pink during October. It was simply called "black & white" challenge. This was part of a challenge for the Stamping Boutique's DT to make examples of. The image I used , of course, was another of
thestampingboutique.com
That little gal not only has style, but she definitely has attitude , as well. You just want to say, You Go Girlfriend.
I switched background colors, and I'm a bit more pleased with how this picture turned out. One of these days, I'm going to have this picture taking down to a science.
Thanks for stopping by. Would appreciate your comments.
I'm Back !!! "Catching Up Time "
It's so good to be blogging again. Had some health issues lately and was unable to get onto my blog and chat and share some pictures. This is what I'll call my "catching up" blog today. It will have a little of this, and a little of that. Energy is coming back in littles, but it is coming back. Yea!!! So on with some pictures.
The mug shaped card with my friend, Tom, on the front sharing his wish for baking a ham this Thanksgiving was made for Challenge #54 theme being Food. This was for the weekly challenge on the Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog . The image I used was one of Karen's Doodles , karensdoodles.com.
She has such great images to work with. Check out her site, you're going to love her work.
These boxes were created during our Chat over at the Stamping Boutique DT. The box is called the
2-5-7-10 box. Such an easy project to do.
I used images from two different designers. The little witch whose busy sweeping away the cobwebs getting ready for Halloween Fun is one of Tracey's from thestampingboutique.com
I use her stamps quite often. The Scarecrow looking so handsome in the moonlight is another of Tracey's images.
The sweet little gal looking oh so cute for trick or treating is one of MazyArts Images. She has some terrific images to work with. This little gal is one of my favorites.
This group of pictures shows one of my other 2-5-7-10 boxes and a card I made to swap with another DT pal. The card was made using the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge. My go to cartridge for many projects. Of course, this box had some Halloween goodies in it.
I have several more projects to share with you, but my computer is not cooperating very well today, so I'm going to start another post. Wish me luck.

Challenge #52 Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog
The theme for the Challenge #52 for CCCB this week is Embossing, wet or dry. My sample for the challenge is a little gal named McKayla by http://mazyart.com
The bottom layer of the card is dry embossed . I accented the top layer with some dark brown twine. The image was colored digitally and detailed by hand to finish. The buttons just added another finishing touch for this sweet little McKayla's card. She's all dressed in her Halloween best. I edged the image with dark brown ink.
Now this challenge will run from Tuesday ,9/25 - Monday, 10/1. Hope you give it a try.

Etsy Store
Friends, I have a question about Etsy. I am seriously thinking about opening an Etsy Store. I'd love some feedback from those of you who have taken the plunge. Now I don't create my own images, I use other artists for my cards. Does this make a difference? Pros and Cons. I would really love your input. I want to look before I leap.
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Jacqy

Lost my post pictures
I am not sure what happened to all my pictures I added to my last post, so I'll try again. Here are some of my latest cards from the past few weeks.
All of us on the Chat are going to exchange our boxes with one another .
These two pictures are from an earlier challenge. I thought the template for the box was the one we were using for our chat . So I just took these pictures to share, when I realized it was the wrong box. So if this little pink box looks familiar, it's because I already posted this for a challenge in February. Oops!
This little cutie is Katie, and she's ready for 1st grade. The image is from robyn'sfetish.com
The challenge was to use this image to create a back to school themed project. I made an easel card with Ms. Katie. Just to do something a little different rather than a regular card shape.
Now here is another card using The Stamping Boutique's image, Kyle on her Books. This was our theme for the Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog the Design Team made samples for. We have another Challenge Coming up starting Tuesday, September 25th. I'll let you know what it is Tuesday morning, so be sure to check in with me.
And if you do participate in this week's challenge, be sure to post it on the CCCB (Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog) It's so much easier to use letters, isn't it. LOL
Also, if you post your adorable creation here so I can see it, I just might have some special "blog candy" waiting for that lucky person. You'll have from 9/25 (Tuesday) - 10/1 (Monday) for the upcoming challenge. So check in Tuesday to find out what it is.
Now this card was not done for a challenge. DH's Aunt Inge celebrated her 85th birthday 2 weeks ago. I decided to make her card up in German. I was able to find a font that would print the words I typed in English into German. So the front says, Happy Birthday, Inge. She was so touched. I am so glad I took the extra time to do this. She is a very special lady.
This was our challenge at CCCB for the week of 9/11. Theme was "never forget". The image is another of The Stamping Boutique's. This is Audrey. I actually colored her digitally and then embellished and highlighted the card after it was printed.
This is some of the samples from my ATC Swap in August at TCC. The theme for this month's ATC Swap is Java . (it's all about coffee)
Well, I've got you all caught up now. Hopefully these will post.

Labor Day Challenge Card
I have the cutest little guy , AJ, who just happens to be a construction worker. I could resist making a card for our Labor Day Challenge.
thestampingboutique.com Well, here he is. Little AJ, who just happens to be an electrician. (little partial to electricians, hubby & son ). I tried something this time I've never attempted yet. I colored the image digitally. I really enjoyed it, but I've got lots more practice before I'm completely satisfied with the colors, etc. But I am pleased with how this card turned out.
Let me know how you like it.

Catching Up With Creations
I've got some catching up to do. This past week has been a busy , busy one. And when you're just not up to par, it can be a wee bit of a challenge to post everything on time to share with all my friends.
My first picture is one for a weekly challenge at The Stamping Boutique. The theme was "Banners" . The image I used was "Smoochie With Banners". thestampingboutique.com I love this series with Smooching. There are a variety Tracey at TSB carries of our Smoochy.
Most of the ribbon I used to surround the picture is from Really Reasonable Ribbons www.reasonableribbon.com
This next card was for the latest Wednesday Challenge at The Crafters Cafe
thestampingboutique.ning.com
The image I used was one designed by Claire Keay jellypark.co.uk.
The theme for this Challenge- use primary color-Green
2 embellishments- buttons
numbers
Our little gal is sitting at her table for 1st day of Kindergarten. This could also be us as we sit down to create something. The hair & the look are perfect for how we usually feel at that time.
This next picture is one from yesterday's Friday Altered Challenge at The Stamping Boutique. The item being altered is a candy roll(your choosing) altered to look like a pencil. (another back to school themed project)This was such a fun and easy project to do.
Now I'm all caught up and ready to get to work on some upcoming challenges.
