More on the Cards

Well, the Parish Council cards are coming right along.  I was quite pleasantly surprised Monday evening at Parish Council meeting.  I brought a few of the cards to show the gals  on the council to get some feed back and input.  What surprised me was the interest the guys showed in them.  It was great.  I've come up with a few more styles , but haven't taken the pictures yet.  Will do that today and then post.  Wish me luck.

Parish Card Project

Well, Anna and I are beginning to put together some ideas for cards for our Parish's RCIA Candidates.  Once these are finished we'll have the members of Parish Council sign them .  These are  a congratulatory cards for their entrance into the Catholic Faith .  It's a special time for them after a very long process.  These are just our way of saying welcome and so glad you are her.

Valentine's Day Chocalate Survival Kit

I   just finished the cutest project (and easiest) for my grandkids for Valentine's Day.  Since they are way too "old" for the cutesy stuff I used to get for them, I had to come up with something else.  I saw this idea on another blog and just loved it.  So  "joy's life" thanks for the idea.  My grandkids I know are going to love this.

Sign For "Grandma's Happy Place"

I'm going  to make myself a sign to put on the door of my craftroom.  I want it to say "Grandma's Happy Place" because I am sooooo happy when I'm creating.  If you have any suggestions about how it could look, post a comment.  Always open for suggestions.

Looks Like Snow with a Chance For Crafting

Well, the weather forecast looks promising for some time to play in my craftroom.  Got to get going on those special cards Annamarie and I are putting together for the Parish Council.  I'll try to take pictures as I work on them.  The operative word there was "TRY".
