One More Challenge for You

This was a November Challenge for  the Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog DT.
Theme was Thanks.  The Image for this was to use one of the Candlyland Series from The Stamping Boutique.  I chose the Gingerbread Man.  Who wouldn't be thankful for a delicious tasting gingerbread cookie.

I used a cream colored twill for an accent.
Stamin Up inks for highlighting.
Card Stock-Recollections Christmas Collection

Thanks for stopping by.  Let me know how you liked this cute little guy.
This challenge for the Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog DT was in November.  The theme was cake.  Don't you love this image.  I want a cake like that for my next birthday.  The image is another of Tracey's from TSB.  thestampingboutique.com

I used a specialty paper for the back ground for this image.  The cake was so busy, it really didn't need anything too busy.  This paper is made with pale leaves and strings embedded through it.

The matting behind the paper was a teal colored stock that I embossed with gold.

This was a fun one to color.  I digitally colored it and embellished with everything I could think of.  Stickles, pearl drops, inks, watercolor pencils.
The card stock is from Recollections.

Don't forget to leave me some love.
Thanks for stopping by.

And we have another Challenge at TSB

Challenge #60  Music

The image I chose for the song I wanted to represent was Sledding Snowman.  Of course, Frosty the Snowman is my song. And , yes, it's from TSB.  She has a lot more fun Christmas and other Seasonal Images to pick from.  Check it out.  thestampingboutique.com

My ribbon:  Really Reasonable Ribbons Christmas Green
Card Stock-coordinating Christmas Collection (Recollection)
inks, watercolor pencils, stickles,
embellishments:  buttons, mini clothespins

Just makes you want to break out into song, doesn't it.
Remember, let me know how you like it.  Leave me some love.

Even More Challenges at The Stamping Boutique

Challenge #59 Thanks
I used the image of AJ the Pilgrim & Turkey.  Instead of making a typical card, I made a shadow box using a template for a pastry box.
I had a lot of fun with this project.  I used my cricut to create the flowers on the corners.
Ribbon :  Really Reasonable Ribbon
Stamp:  Fall Leaves
Gold Embossing Powder
Card Stock-coordinating Recollections
Stampin Up Inks
Bronze Brads

I've never a shadow box before.  This was fun doing something different.
Let me know what you think.

Week 1 Team A Crafter Cafe Challenge Blog

Well, another challenge this week for the Crafter Cafe Challenge Blog DT.
This week we are making a tag .  I used another of Tracey's Images.  This was a tag shaped image (how creative can I get).  Again, you've got to check out TSB collections of digital images  .  thestampingboutique.com

I used coordinating papers from Recollection.
Really Reasonable Ribbons -Christmas Red
Embellished:  glitter pens, inks & watercolor pens, chalks
I'd love to see some of your ideas you've come up with for this year.  I you do, please leave a link so I can leave you some love.

Challenge # 61

Our challenge here at TSB this week is #61 Holiday Cards.  We have at least 12 other fantastic cards make for this challenge.  I'd like t invite you to come and take a look and then join us for this challenge.  I mean who doesn't need Christmas Cards at this time of the year.  Speaking of Christmas Cards, I have to get busy on mine.
This is one of my favorite images from The Stamping Boutique. thestampingboutique.com  The image is the "Christmas Stocking"
I chose the Recollection Collection for the coordinating card stock.
Used chalk, water color pencils, digital coloring, and inks.
Of course I had to add glitter, what's a card without glitter.

This was a card I created for my friends at a nearby nursing home.  They call themselves the Cardsharks.  They range in age from 70's to late 90's.  Each month we put together card kits I make up for them and send them to Operation Write Home.  This card is simplified to accommodate their manual dexterity skills.  Through trial and error I've come to realize  they cannot easily use pop-dots, brads, stamps, and roll adhesives.  So I've found an excellent glue stick that works beautifully for them.  All the highlighting I do after they put the cards together.  This particular card I made as a sample.  I'll have to post the group's picture next month when we are making our cards.  They are such a cute group of gals.

Also the Paper Craft Planet The Stamping Boutique has just begun its 3rd Challenge- Gold and/or Rings
They are just getting started but they do have prizes and they also have tutorials over there.  Please go check them out.  papercraftplanet.com

Please leave me some love.  I really appreciate your comments.
