More Show and Tell Today

I've really been busy the last few days trying to get caught up with some challenges and swaps. The two pictures here are :

Monthly Challenge for TCC:  My design is part of our design teams activity supporting this Challenge for the sponsor this month.   Our Sponsor is
Meljens Designs.   The Theme for the Challenge is:
                 Pearls & Swirls
Meljens digi images   are so easy to work with.  The hardest part about working with her images is having to choose which one you'll use.  Check out her site.  You love what you find.
The image I used is called:
Vintage Bird in a Cage.
I chose this image is because I wanted to have a real vintage look to this card.

I downloaded 2 different views of the same card.  I am really please with how this turned out.

The next is a tag I made just for fun.  It has a Bar B Q theme and a masculine look.  Not really fussy or too many embellishments.  Just a simple quick & easy tag to put together to add to a Father's Day Gift.

The last picture is a birthday card I made for a friend.  Her birthdays in June and she loves green and yellow.  Well, I do aim to please.  I embossed the front of the card and brushed it with a bit of glue and literrally threw some glitter onto it.  I didn't want a lot, just something to make it a bit more special.  Of course, you have to have bling....  And so it does....

Hopefully, I'll be able to do a bit more later today.  I've got to get some kits ready for my monthly  OWH Cardmaking with my friends at Park Place Residence.  We call ourselves the "Cardsharks".  What a fun group of gals to work with.  Our theme for Monday's session is Fall.  But to do this activity with them, I have to get busy with the card kits.  So  I'm glad you stopped by to visit.  Let me know how you liked the cards.

  2. Thanks for the sweet thoughts. They were fun projects. For some reason now that all the parties, get togethers , etc. for the end of the school year are over, I get some much more time in my craft room. Yea. Not that I don't enjoy all those fun family times, but I do miss my crafting too. Thanks for visiting.
