Had some problems with the last post.  Hopefully I can show you the rest of the example with weaving  that  I tried using ribbon.

The next step I flipped it over and ran dry adhesive around all the edges.  Then just folded the overlap ribbon and attached it to the cardstock  with the dry adhesive.  Then the next step is to flip it over and add a strip of ribbon going horizontally to the top and bottom.  Attach this with the dry adhesive to the front and back of the cardstock.  It will give it a more finished look.  I then, just attached  using a decorative element.  I would probably jazz it up a bit more if it wasn't a sample.  But hopefully, you've gotten the idea how to do it.
